First homes now available off-plan at landmark Castleward development

Home buyers in Derby can now reserve the first homes being built by Compendium Living as part of the city’s £100 million Castleward development.

The new two, three and four-bedroom homes are now available to reserve off-plan, but with only a limited number available and the first 10 reservations receiving an iPad upon completion, buyers are being urged to get in quick.

Those wanting to find out more can take a virtual look inside the new homes thanks to the Castleward Mobile App, now available to view exclusively at Bagshaws Residential Estate Agents on Cornmarket.

As construction is still underway on the development, Compendium Living Sales Adviser, Lynn Korczak, will be selling its new homes from Bagshaws until the Castleward show home is launched early next year.

Lynn comments: “We had a fantastic response for our recent launch event and are delighted with the positive comments we have had from home buyers.

“Everyone has been really impressed with the modern house designs and high specification, and so far we have had a real mix of buyers showing an interest, from young professionals to retired couples.

“Castleward offers a rare opportunity to own a newly built home just a stone’s throw from the city centre and it’s the convenient location, alongside being part of a brand new community, that’s proving to be attractive to home buyers.

“We’re now inviting anyone who wants to know more to visit us at Bagshaws, where they can use the Castleward App to experience a virtual tour of the development and selected house styles, get full details of the specification and pick up a brochure to take home.”

Phase one of Castleward will feature 163 homes, new business premises, with well-designed open spaces and an attractive tree-lined boulevard, which will all form part of a new neighbourhood located between the city centre and Derby Midland Station.

Lynn adds: “We’re creating a collection of homes that are completely different to those currently available in Derby and home owners will be able to enjoy all the comforts of a modern property, as well as the convenience of living amongst new local amenities and being just a short walk away from Westfield and the city centre.

“The new open spaces and boulevard will also make Castleward a really attractive and highly desirable place to live.”

In total, Compendium Living is transforming 30 acres of land between Derby Midland Station and the city centre into an attractive gateway to the heart of Derby.

Compendium Living was selected as the preferred developer by Derby City Council and the Government’s Homes and Communities Agency.

Earlier this year, Castleward became the country’s second development project to achieve certification under the BRE Environmental Assessment Method (BREEAM) Communities following a voluntary assessment.

Homes are priced from £120,000.
